Craig Lowe

October 28, 1972 - August 2, 2014

Treasure hunter, lover of life and a passionate adventure seeker. We lost Craig much sooner than we should have. Craig was always smiling, kind and fired up about whatever life was bringing next. His energy was contagious and never-ending. His children were everything to him and they lit up his life. Amazing husband to Kaley and wonderful father to Sydney, Alexa, Ryley and Lainey. Beloved brother of Kristi, son of Don and Jacquie Lowe, son-in-law of Gail and Alex Gray and grandson of Jack and Eileen Finan. A celebration of his life will take place on: Monday, August 18, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Turtle Creek Golf Course at 11660 Guelph Line, Campbellville, L0P 1B0. Please wear casual and colourful clothes, he would have wanted it this way. In lieu of flowers or donations, please consider sending your best story, memory, picture or video of Craig at any age to: kaleygray100@gmail.com. We will use them to create a memory book for his children. You may submit more than one, as we know some of you have lots! We would like to have them all.

Frequently Asked Questions

Certainly you can. We are a member of Home Stars - Contractor Rating website. Visit our profile on Home Stars below to see what some of our previous clients have to say about us. Please feel free to leave a review for Lowe Painting after we complete your project.

We generally price by the room. If extensive preparation is involved, such as drywall repair, stucco removal or wallpaper removal, these parts of the job are billed on an hourly basis.

At Lowe Painting, the preferred paint is Benjamin Moore due to its performance and warranty. As long as you are using top line paints and products suited for the job, we will use other top line products if the customer wants us to. We are well versed in products across the board and will recommend certain products for certain jobs.

It is always our policy to finish a job once we start it. On occasion, we have to wait on other contractors to complete their work before we can do our job, or if there is a scheduling issue we will always make that the customer aware of it, and make arrangements that are to the satisfaction of all concerned parties.

We always provide our customers with a complete breakdown of the costs, with the paint shown separately so the customer can see what portion is for the paint, and what portion of the price is the labour.

In most cases we break the estimate down per room so that the customer can pick and choose based on priority and budgeting.

At Lowe Painting, we cover all floors with drop sheets or building paper and all furniture and counters, etc., are covered with plastic sheeting. There is no getting around the fact that there will be dust. That is an inevitable part of painting. However, we do clean up and vacuum when we are finished in order to minimize our impact. In most cases, customers will want to do a thorough cleaning themselves, after we've finished our general cleaning & vacuuming. If customers need access to a room we are in the process of painting we can accommodate that request.

We carry $2 million in liability insurance as well as full WSIB coverage.

We guarantee all of our work for two years. On interior projects, the likelihood of paint failure is very minimal. Using top line primers and paints guarantees against product failure, so generally if it looks good it is good. A paint guarantee for exterior paints and decks is more important as failure due to weather is more of an issue. Painting during appropriate weather is always important. We won't apply any product if we can't stand behind our guarantee.

In most cases, we will move the furniture. This can be discussed beforehand. We won't move breakables, large screen TV's, fridges over hardwood, and potentially other expensive items.

No deposit required. We will bill for work completed or paint purchased. If the job is large enough, we will bill in progressive installments for work completed and paint purchased.

We accept Visa, cash and cheques. Payment is due on completion.
